All teams 12 years and up must provide at least 3 umpires. Players can expect to umpire approximately 5 times during the season. We suggest that all team members are given the opportunity to share in the umpiring duty.

If you are rostered on it is your responsibility to do the duty or find a replacement.  Fines will be issued if you don't forfill this duty and you will not be permitted to take the court until the fine is paid.

 

All afternoon Badged Umpires will receive $10 per game. Returning morning Badged Umpires receive $8 per game.  Teams who do not provide 3 umpires will NOT be registered. For those interested in learning to be an umpire, Dubbo Netball Association (DNA) hold an umpire coaching clinic each season and this gives the girls a chance to umpire in the mornings as an "Umpire in Training" with a mentor for a morning game.  All they need to do is volunteer by putting their name down on the board outside control.
